If you have any further questions, I'm happy to schedule an optional video call or we can continue the conversation entirely by email. Once you’re ready to book, a non-refundable session fee secures your place on my calendar. From the moment you book, I’ll guide you through everything that comes next for your Rochester NY newborn photos.
Dreaming & Planning
Before your baby arrives, we’ll connect over video to plan your newborn session together. We’ll talk about where you’d like to photograph, what you want these first days to look and feel like, plan wardrobe for you, your baby, and the rest of your family. For my Signature session clients, I will help you schedule your included professional in-home/studio hair and makeup. We’ll use your due date as our starting point, then finalize the session once your baby is here.
A Session Led by Your Baby
Once your baby is here, there is nothing you need to orchestrate or make happen. Your baby doesn’t need to sleep through the session, siblings don’t need to be perfectly behaved, and we’ll pause whenever your family needs time to feed, change, cuddle, or simply take a breath. I’ll gently guide you while allowing your baby to set the pace, so you can be fully present with the people you love as I preserve the tenderness and connection of this fleeting season.
Artwork, Choose what you love
3-4 weeks after your session, we’ll meet in the studio or connect by video to experience your thoughtfully curated gallery together. I’ll guide you in choosing the photographs that mean the most to you and, should you wish, transforming them into tangible heirlooms for your home. Whether through fine-art prints, a handcrafted album, or custom wall art, we’ll create something that forever brings you back to how small they were and what those first tender days together felt like.

The Signature
THE $375 CREATIVE FEE INCLUDES:
Your signature newborn session is designed to care for you just as gently as your baby during these tender early days. From thoughtful planning, access to the client wardrobe to professional in-home hair and makeup, every detail is handled so the day of your session, you can be pampered and simply be present with your family. Your session unfolds at your baby’s pace, allowing time for feeding, soothing, and snuggling while I preserve your whole story - their tiny details, your growing connection, and the overwhelming love of this fleeting season.
Your $375 creative fee covers the experience above and reserves your session. Artwork and digital files are chosen and purchased separately after you’ve seen your finished images at our ordering appointment.
Beyond the creative fee, Collections begin at $895 while typically, clients invest an average of $1600.

On the day of your session, professional hair and makeup comes to you, allowing you to relax (feed your newborn) in the comfort of your home. After your session, I will guide you in selecting timeless artwork that you value and feels at home in your space. Q1. When should I schedule my newborn session?
I recommend reaching out to schedule your newborn session during 2nd trimester so we can secure a spot on my calendar within 2 weeks of your due date. Once your baby arrives, we’ll choose the final session date together. Newborn sessions are often photographed within the first two weeks, but there is no single perfect age. We’ll plan the timing around your baby, your recovery, and what feels best for your family.
Q2. What if my baby doesn't sleep during the session?
Your baby does not need to sleep for the entire session, or at all. Awake expressions, tiny stretches, sleepy cuddles, and quiet moments in your arms are all beautiful parts of your baby’s story. We have plenty of time to follow their cues and pause whenever they need to feed, be changed, comforted, or simply take a break.
Q3. What should we wear and do we need to bring anything?
Before your session, I’ll thoughtfully coordinate your family’s wardrobe, with mothers invited to choose from my curated collection of flattering dresses. I’ll guide you on what to bring, though very little is required beyond your usual feeding and diapering essentials. Everything is thoughtfully planned so you can feel prepared and cared for the day of your session.
Q4. What if it rains?
I am always looking at the weather prior to your session to check for rain or any other inclement weather. Rain happens and I usually call off a session 48 hours before so we can reschedule hair and makeup. We can then work together to find a reschedule date.
