Before your session, we’ll connect over video to thoughtfully design your family session around how you want this season of your family to feel and be remembered. Together, we’ll plan your wardrobe (with access to my client wardrobe of dresses for mothers) and choose a beautiful location. For my signature session clients, I will help you schedule your included professional in-home hair and makeup. I’ll guide you through every detail so you feel confident and excited for your session.
Simple & Stress-Free Session
The day is finally here! I’ll gently guide you through natural movement and effortless posing, creating photographs that feel as beautiful and genuine as the connection your family shares in this season. I’ll preserve both the timeless portraits and the meaningful in-between moments. Throughout it all, your experience will feel relaxed, effortless, and genuinely enjoyable. Life is full of enough challenges. I am here to make sure your photos are not a part of that! There is nothing you need to orchestrate or perfect, simply be present with the people you love, and trust me to take care of the rest.
Artwork, Choose what you love
After you inquire, I’ll send you my Experience and Investment Guide to review. If you have any further questions, I'm happy to schedule an optional video call or we can continue the conversation entirely by email. Once you are ready to book, a non-refundable session fee is required to secure your date. From the moment you book your Rochester NY family session, every detail is thoughtfully handled so your experience feels seamless and effortless.
3-4 weeks after your session, we’ll meet in the studio to experience your thoughtfully curated gallery together. I’ll guide you in choosing the photographs that mean the most to you and, should you wish, transforming them into tangible heirlooms for your home. Whether through fine-art prints, a handcrafted album, or custom wall art, together we’ll create something enduring, a beautiful reminder of your children as they are now, the connection you share, and the story of your family in this season.
FAMILY Session
From client wardrobe access, thoughtful styling for the whole family to professional hair and makeup, I’ll take care of the details so you can focus on being together. With gentle guidance and space for your children to be themselves, we’ll capture the laughter, little embraces and moments you want to remember forever. The signature family session is designed to give the space to move beyond the expected portraits. As you settle in, expressions soften, smiles become more natural, and the quiet gestures that reveal your family’s connection begin to unfold.
THE $375 CREATIVE FEE INCLUDES:

- Up to 1.5h session in home, outdoors, or at my Studio
- Professional Hair and Makeup for mother

- ordering appointment to view your image gallery & help you choose the artwork you value for your home and/or digital files
The Signature
Your $375 creative fee covers the experience above and reserves your session. Artwork and digital files are chosen and purchased separately after you’ve seen your finished images at our ordering appointment.
Beyond the creative fee, Collections begin at $895 while typically, clients invest an average of $1600.

Every finished artwork includes its corresponding digital photograph, so you never have to choose between preserving your memories in print and sharing them with the people you love. Imagine approaching your session with every detail already thoughtfully handled. No last minute scrambling for outfits because it is already planned together ahead of time. On the day of your session, professional hair and makeup comes to you, allowing you to relax (feed your newborn) in the comfort of your home. After your session, I will guide you in selecting timeless artwork that you value and feels at home in your space. It is a full-service approach created for busy mothers, allowing you to be present, feel cared for and enjoy this meaningful season.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q1. What if my children don't cooperate?
Your children don’t need to sit still, smile on command, or behave perfectly. I’ll follow their natural rhythms, and gently guide your family through movement, play, and connection. Their curiosity, affection, and joyful energy are part of who they are in this season, and often lead to the photographs that feel the most meaningful!
Q2. What if I prefer to do my own hair and makeup?
Professional hair and makeup are included with your Signature Session. However, if you prefer to do your own, a $150 credit will be applied toward your finished artwork at your ordering appointment.
Q3. Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely, your dog is part of the family! Because Signature Sessions can last up to 90 minutes, I recommend arranging for a friend or family member to take your dog home or for a walk once we’ve captured the photographs that include them. This allows the remainder of your session to feel relaxed and keeps everyone’s attention focused.
Q4. What if it rains?
I am always looking at the weather prior to your session to check for rain or any other inclement weather. Rain happens and I usually call off a session 48 hours before so we can reschedule hair and makeup. We can then work together to find a reschedule date.
